U-Ploughs
U-series snow ploughs are designed for maintaining large areas and streets. With their U-shaped design and hydraulically operated wings, the ploughs are suitable both for collecting snow and for forming snow piles. The adjustable working width allows the plough to be adapted to different working conditions. The side wings can be rotated by 180°, making it easy to choose the most suitable working position. The plough functions can be controlled either via the vehicle’s own controls or by using an optional in-cab control panel. All U-series ploughs are made from durable, high-strength steel.
Key features
- The floating hitch system lets the plough follow ground irregularities for an even result and reduced surface damage.
- The electrically controlled hydraulic valve allows the wings to move independently.
- Spring-loaded cutting edges absorb impacts with obstacles, protecting the plough and keeping the surface cleaner.
- The integrated hydraulic accumulator reduces stress on the wings during sudden impacts or collisions and extends structural service life.
- Olofsfors interchangeable cutting edges can be used on both sides, which increases edge life and lowers maintenance costs.
- The ploughs are available with multiple mounting systems.
- All plough functions use a single double-acting hydraulic connection, simplifying installation and operation.

- Grid cutting edge kit for heavy and compacted snow
- Rubber cutting edge kit for more sensitive surfaces (for example paving and parking areas)
- Marker lights for better visibility and safety
- In-cab control panel, if the vehicle’s own controls are not preferred
